Liveria 'Cookie' Cochran QUAKERTOWN Liveria "Cookie" Cochran, 97, of Quakertown, PA, formerly of Tinicum Township, PA, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Quakertown Center in Quakertown, PA. Liveria was born December 12, 1920 in Bridgetown Township, PA, and lived in Tinicum Township, PA, most of her life. She was a homemaker. Liveria enjoyed music, dancing, and partying, as well as sitting on the porch in her rocking chair waving to people passing by. She was a member of the Community Fellowship in Frenchtown, NJ, and a member of the Milford Senior Citizens. Liveria was also a member of the Erwinna and Upper Black Eddy Ladies Auxiliary. Daughter of the late Stacey and Violet (Mills) Pursell, Liveria is survived by her daughter Minerva Manship and her husband, Bob, of Tinicum Township, PA, her sister Ruth Singley of Easton, PA, her grandson, Darren Manship of Upper Black Eddy, PA, and her longtime friend, Blaz Gallick. Liveria was predeceased by her daughter, Rosemarie Cochran, her brothers, Ozzie Pursell and Earl Pursell, and her sisters, Stella Brown, Mildred Whitman, Alverna Cronce, and Frances Mount. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. Funeral services will also be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Ozzie Pursell officiating. Interment will follow at the Upper Tinicum Cemetery in Tinicum Township, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Delaware Canal, 145 South Main Street, New Hope, PA 18938.
