ERMA BERNIECE WINTERROTH June 5, 1928 ˜ November 27, 2018 Erma Berniece Winterroth, age 90, passed away Tues., Nov. 27, 2018 in Ridgefield, WA after a year-long battle with brain cancer. She was born June 5, 1928 to Charles William and Anna Marie Thompson, the youngest of 10 children of that hearty North Dakota family. Erma always lived life as she wanted and took care of everyone as best she could. She was known by her many nieces and nephews as the “Glamorous and Fun” aunt. She was equally as close with her brothers and sisters. The entire family enjoyed spending time with each other all through their lives. Her generosity and unwavering desire to help others is what she will be most remembered by. She was truly an inspiration and prime example of how people should treat each other. She will be greatly missed by many. Erma is survived by her brother, Harold; son, Jeff; daughter, Julie; grandchildren, Sheldon, Derek, Ellie and Brennan; and three great-grandchildren. We want to express our sincerest gratitude for all of the friends, family, and caregivers that made her finals weeks as loving and comfortable as possible.
