Casey Woody
Casey Woody - - Our son, Casey Woody, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018, due to complications of sepsis. Casey was born in Palm Springs on April 17, 1987. He went to school at Cielo Vista, Raymond Cree, and Palm Springs High School. Casey loved to play sports. He played baseball but his true love was football. He played Junior All-American football and Palm Springs High School and he excelled on the field. Playing football is where he made his life long friends, Chris Sligh, Auggie Martinez, Arron Harris and many more. His coaches had a huge impact on his life. Of most importance were Tom Christopher and Bob Vail. He was in the class of 2005 at Palm Springs High School. Of course, his family will miss him the most. Casey leaves behind his Mom and Dad, Kris and Mike Woody, of Cathedral City, his younger brothers Max(Melissa), and Bo, and his big brother, Eric, his sister in law, Jessica, and his nephews, Cael, Brody, and Jesus, and his sweet niece, AJ Woody. He also leaves behind his Grandma, Linda Woody, of Thousand Palms, and many other relatives, his long time girlfriend, Sara Maddox, and many friends. Casey had worked for many years for Glenn McLaughlin in the swimming pool business. Join us in a Celebration of Life, Saturday, Dec. 1, at Century Park in Cathedral City.
