SHIRLEY MAE SCHAEFER BURKE Baltimore, Md. Shirley Mae Schaefer Burke, 91, formerly of Marion, Cedar Rapids and Tulsa, Okla., died Nov. 11, 2018, at her home in Baltimore, Md. Born on her family's farm in rural Marion, Shirley graduated from Marion High School, Class of 1944. She worked full time as a bookkeeper until age 85. Shirley was a lifetime member of Eastern Star. She is survived by two daughters, Jacquelyn Burke Rosholt of Baltimore, Md., and Carolyn Burke Heath of Tulsa, Okla.; granddaughter, Alison Rosholt Reynolds; grandson, Benjamin Burke Heath; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Jack Burke. Arrangements are pending.
