David A. Brachetti
David A. Brachetti 73, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Saratoga Hospital. Dave was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts on January 4, 1945, he was the son of Albert and Lillian Brachetti. He was an Air Force veteran serving from 1965 to 1969 in Vietnam. He retired as a commercial lines underwriter for CNA Insurance Company after a lifetime career in the insurance field. Dave enjoyed the great outdoors, canoeing, hiking, camping, boating and fishing on Lake George. He was often seen pampering his Jeep in expectation of an off-Road trip. He was predeceased by his son, Darren and his brother, Duncan. David is survived by his sons, Derek Brachetti and Damon Brachetti; grandchildren, Kya, Catalina Allia, Seth, Jax, Andrew, Alyssa; life partner, Anne Gardner-Handy; and sister, Theresa Brown. Funeral will be private but friends and family are invited to join in a celebration of his life on Saturday, November 17th from 2 to 5 p.m. at 32 Outlet Road, Ballston Lake.
