Steven Leslie Rashkow, 81 years, of Oswego, IL died Friday, September 14, 2018 at Presence Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born June 17, 1937 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Leo and Rosalyn nee Zegart Rashkow. He served his country honorably with the United States Marine Corps. He was very active in the Fox Valley Marine Corps League for many years in the Aurora and surrounding area. He was a member of Naperville IL American Legion Post #43. Survivors include his wife Sara nee Kaminsky, (Whom he married on September 4, 1960 in Chicago, IL.) a daughter Sheri (Robert) Anglim, two sons Doug Rashkow, Dean (Caroline) Rashkow, six grandchildren, Emily (David) Morrical, Jacob (Courtney) Mayo, Allie Rashkow, Jeremey Rashkow, Logan Rashkow, Brody Rashkow, three great grandchildren, Maverick Morrical, Liam Morrical, Kiera Morrical, two sisters Patty (Bill) Kelner, Ardith (Sydney) Polk, two brothers Bruce (Ilona) Rashkow, Mark (Rhina) Rashkow, also several nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 Douglas Road Oswego, IL. Graveside services with military honors will take place on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 11:30 AM at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery 20953 Hoff Road Elwood, IL 60421.
