Leslie "Les" Wilcox
Leslie "Les" Wilcox age 63 passed away on Sept. 11, 2018, peacefully surrounded by his family. He fought a hard and courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Westerly, R.I., on Sept. 29, 1954, to Edith (Barbar) and Edgar Wilcox. He married his high school sweetheart Marcia Main on Nov. 7, 1970. Les was a hard working family man. Before retiring, he was a plumber for many years, and most recently a security officer at Mohegan Sun. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Marcia Wilcox of Berlin, N.H.; his daughter Gwen "Kiki" (Wilcox) McKinnon and husband Scott of Berlin; his son Kevin Wilcox and wife Lisa of Berlin; grandchildren Kameron Wilcox of Berlin and Kirsten McKinnon of Berlin; his great-granddaughter Chloe; sisters Judy Smith and husband Bill of North Stonington Conn., Lois Tate of Westerly R.I.; sister-in-law Sherry Main of North Carolina; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Les was predeceased by both parents, an infant sister Gwen, brothers-in-law Joseph Main, Richard Tate, Donald Banks, and sisters-in-law Micki Banks and Maureen Main. He will be greatly missed by all. Per his request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to North Country Home Health And Hospice, 536 cottage street, Littleton NH 03561, the Norris Cotton Cancer Center, St. Johnsbury, Vt., or your local animal shelter.
