OLGA M. (GRECO) DIVECCHIA
DiVECCHIA, Olga M. (Greco) Of Watertown, passed away on Saturday, September 8 in Waltham. Olga, known as Pat to her friends, was born in East Cambridge on May 11, 1929 to Vincenzo and Nina Greco. She graduated from Cambridge Latin in 1947 and from the Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School two years later. In the early 1950s, she worked as a bookkeeper at the Hood Rubber Company in Watertown where she met her late husband, Jerry (Guerino) DiVecchia. They married on October 9, 1955, settled in Watertown and had four children, Susan Reagan of Franklin, David of Wellesley, Ron of Peabody and Julie Coan of Houston, TX. Olga worked at Western Electric, Zayre's and the Federal Savings Bank. She is preceded in death by her brothers Guido and Anthony Greco, her sisters Carmine Barressi and Mary Trifone. She is survived by her brother Peter, her best friend, Emily White and by several sons and daughters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and one great-grandson, Keegan. Olga will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, her love of family, friends and the bread at the Chateau. Her children would like to thank the staff and residents of Meadow Green Rehabilitation Center in Waltham for taking such wonderful care of their lovely mother, especially her dear friends Ann and Rose. Funeral from the Donovan-Aufiero Funeral Home, 140 Otis St. (at 6th St) EAST CAMBRIDGE, Saturday at 9 AM, followed by a Rite of Christian Burial in St. Francis Church, 325 Cambridge St., Cambridge at 10 AM.
