Lois Louise Irish (nee Nichols) 02/13/1919 - 09/06/2018 Lois "Honey" Irish was born in Saginaw, MI. She attended a secretarial school after high school and worked at the Capitol in Lansing, MI. She was married to George Irish in 1939. Later she worked for court reporters in Saginaw for many years. After retirement, they moved to Florida to be near their daughter and grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, George, her parents Charles and Lena Nichols; siblings Harry, Ralph, Charles, Ruth and Gladys. She is survived by daughter Sharon Irish Nichols and son-in-law Dan Nichols; grandchildren Cynthia Youngs and Sean Ghannam, and great grandchildren Joseph, Jacob and Emma Youngs, and Aedan Ghannam. Beloved by family and many friends, known for her kindness, generosity, even temper, and her wit, she leaves behind an essence of love that made the world a better place. The family thanks Halifax Hospice.
