FERESTIEN, Ronnie Ronnie Ferestien, of Boynton Beach, FL, and formerly Newton, MA, passed away at her residence suddenly on September 2, 2018. Ronnie was the beloved wife of the late Alan L. Ferestien and loving mother of Ken Ferestien, New City, NY, June Ferestien, Newton, MA and Dana Ferestien, Seattle WA. Ronnie was the proud grandmother of Lindsey Royce, Morgan Ferestien, Lily and Sadie Winton, and Max Ferestien. Ronnie is survived by sibling Margie Orling of Boynton Beach FL Born in Newton in 1939, Ronnie was a graduate of Newton High School and she raised her family in West Newton before moving to Florida full time in 2009. Ronnie lived her life with passion, enthusiasm, and a desire for life-long learning. She encouraged everyone who knew her to strive for excellence too. Ronnie was a Bridge diamond life master, had a love for her family and reveled in the company of her many friends. She was an animal lover and cherished her beloved dogs Moppet and Sushi. Ronnie sang, played the piano and was an exceptional game player. She loved the sport of tennis, both to play and as a spectator. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Funeral arrangements and Shiva observances were held in Florida on September 5, 2018.
