IRWIN, Jane Earnhart Passed away August 7, 2018 in Arlington, Texas. Jane was born in Urbana, Ohio on March 1, 1935, the second of six children to Everell and Pauline Pond Earnhart. She spent the first eighteen years of her life in Urbana graduating from Urbana High School in 1953. She left Urbana to attend the City Hospital of Springfield nursing program (later Community Hospital), graduating in 1956 to become an RN and pursue her chosen career at Community Hospital in Springfield, Ohio. Jane was a member of the Lagonda Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, an avid volunteer with the Honor Flight Organization in Springfield, Ohio, a member of the Central United Methodist Church in Springfield as well as the First United Methodist Church in Arlington, VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed music, needlework, crocheting, programs in Snyder Park, card games and watching college and NBA basketball. Jane is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Elizabeth Ann Earnhart Johnson and a brother Donald Eugene Earnhart. She is survived by her daughter Nanette Irwin Rhodes and son-in-law John of Arlington, Texas, brother Hugh Earnhart and wife Mary Kay of Poland, Ohio, brother Charles Earnhart and wife Brenda of Wilmington, Ohio, and brother Mark Earnhart and wife Vicki of Urbana, Ohio. She had many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Jane's family and friends will celebrate her life at a memorial service in Urbana in late September; private interment at Kingscreek Cemetery.
