David L. Kjellander
David Lloyd Kjellander, age 90, passed Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Maple Leaf HealthCare Center. Mr. Kjellander is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ethel; four children, Robert L. Kjellander, David J. Kjellander, Brendena M. Fleming and was preceded in death by Bruce E. Kjellander. He also leaves behind his sister, Judith M. Shores; eight grandchildren, Sarah E. Morrison, Kara E. Middleton, Julian A. Kjellander, Sven B. Kjellander, Devon B. Fleming, Jace T. Fleming, Mia P. Fleming and Jennalee C. Fleming; along with 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. David was a veteran of the U.S. Army, 169th Infantry Regiment. He grew up in Braintree, Mass., and graduated from Braintree High School in 1947. After marrying his high school sweetheart, he finished serving his country, and took up his father's profession of floor laying, eventually starting his own company, Resilient Flooring in Norwell, Mass., where he and his wife raised their four children. Services will be held Saturday, September 15, at the First Baptist Church, 536 Union St., Manchester, N.H., with calling hours starting at 1 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. and refreshments afterwards in the fellowship hall. He will be laid to rest with full military honors at 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, N.H. All are welcome.
