Eva A. Bernier
Eva A. (Birmingham) Bernier, 96, formerly of Rutland, died Sept. 10, 2018, in Daytona Beach, FL. She was born June 5, 1922, in Woodstock, the daughter of Edward and Flossie (Clement) Birmingham. She graduated from Woodstock High School and Becker College in Worcester, MA, and retired from Tampax Tambrands, where she was a supervisor. Survivors include a son, Glen Coltey Jr., of Florida, and three daughters Glenna Stella (Joseph), of Rutland, Elaine Lamell (Gary), of Middlesex, Dale Martin (David) of Sudbury, and daughter-in-law Brenda Baron, of West Rutland; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; two sisters Mae Knudsen, of Bridgewater Corners, Winnie Pearce, of Florida, and sister-in-law Elizabeth Birmingham, of Pittsford and Arizona; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers Reginald Birmingham and Leon Birmingham; first husband, Glenn Coltey; and second husband, Roger Bernier. There will be no calling hours and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
