Fred Earl Battaile
Fred Earl Battaile, a former Louisa resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 7, 2018. He was the son of Ina and Percy Battaile. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Eula Battaile, and his three children, Eunice Iseley (Steve), Larry Battaile, and Beth Wynings (Eric). Fred is also survived by three grandchildren, Tina DeFoe (Don), Tyler Iseley and Justin Wynings. Fred retired from the C&O Railroad in 1978. He was well known for growing the tastiest tomatoes and a dedicated fan to bluegrass. A graveside service was held Monday, September 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Peninsula Memorial Park.
