Sibblis L. Ball, 83, of Port Charlotte, Florida died peacefully Monday, Sept. 3, 2018 at home. He was born on Sept. 11, 1934 in Cuba to the late Ambrose Ball and Celeste Ball. He immigrated to the United Statesin Nov. of 1958 to New York. Sibblis moved to Port Charlotte in 1990. He was an elder of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of North Port, Florida. He is survived by his loving family; his wife of 60 years, Joyce M. Ball of Port Charlotte; sons, Lincoln, Hugh Norton, Carlos, Justin, Robert and Richardo (deceased); daughters, Nancy, Deborah, and Indira; sister, Linda; brother, Lloyd; 23 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sept. 13, at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. on Sept. 14 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1261 Rutledge St. North Port, FL 34288.
