Jordan Huskey PEORIA - Jordan Regina Huskey, 23, of Peoria passed away at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018. She was born on November 25, 1994, in Peoria to Robert Michael and Della Louise "Dee" (Burton) Huskey. Surviving are her mother, Dee Vallianatos of Peoria; father, Rob Huskey of Washington; three brothers, Aaron (Jessica) Bricker of Ozark, Missouri, and Michael Schmitt and Christopher Schmitt, both of East Peoria; one sister, Amanda (Luke) Nicholson of Ozark, Missouri; her grandmothers, Jan Graham of Peoria and Ruth Stenwall of Ozark, Missouri; aunt, Brittany (Josh Sr.) Beeney of Peoria; and uncle, Jacob (Deborah) Graham of Newark, Missouri. She was preceded in death by one sister, Caitlin Brockway; and grandfathers, Terry Graham and Jim Burton. Jordan was a 2013 graduate of Limestone Community High School in Bartonville and later earned her welding certificate from Midwest Technical Institute in East Peoria. Jordan was working for Pinnacle Security Innovations in Peoria and was taking EMT classes. She was a member of Boilermaker's Union #60 in Morton and attended Riverside Community Church in Peoria. Jordan will be remembered for having a big heart and being a selfless person and a jokester. She had a huge love for family, friends and animals. She enjoyed fishing, playing soccer and working out. She was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and New England Patriots. Her memorial visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2018, at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. A gathering celebrating Jordan's life will follow at B.G. Karaoke Saloon in Bartonville. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention.
