Celebrating the Life of William Daniel McAlpin Born on Oct 3, 1932 in Stedman, North Carolina, Bill was the first of 10 children. He served 12 years in the US Air Force, attaining the rank of SSGT. Bill lived in North Highlands, Calif. for the last 47 years and worked at Lockheed Martin. After that he ran a service station and garage in Roseville, Calif. before retiring. Bill enjoyed hunting and shooting sports and was a member of the Lincoln Shooting Sports Center, where he loved trap shooting. Bill is survived by his two sisters, eight children, twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. A public viewing for Bill will be held on Saturday, Sept. 8 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd., Roseville CA 95678
