BUTLER Jr, Elbert T. "Al" Age 87 of Englewood, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Al retired from NAPA as a sales manager with over 17 years of service. He was a member of Crestview Baptist Church and had taught Sunday school for over 30 years. He enjoyed wood carving, painting and was a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan. He is survived by his wife of 66 years: Wanda (Kerns) Butler, children: Michael (Carol) Butler of Delphos, Joni Lynn (Ray) Kline of Englewood, Anthony (Deborah) Butler of Englewood, grandchildren: Zachary Kline, Justin Butler, siblings: Goldie Schaeffer of Lima, Betty LaRue of Cridersville, Armeda Shark of Spencerville, Edward Butler of Delphos, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Elbert and Nellie (Hittle) Butler Sr., brother: Ralph Butler and grandsons: Sean Burgmeier and Benjamin Kline. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Crestview Baptist Church (6600 Salem Ave.) with Rev. Tim Cain officiating. Interment will follow the service at Polk Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood).
