Carl C. Caspersen, lifelong resident of Holbrook, passed away September 7, 2018, at the age of 101. Carl was born in Holbrook, attended Holbrook schools and graduated from Holbrook High School. For many years, he was in charge of maintenance for Norfolk County Hospital in Braintree. He enjoyed gardening, fixing everything and traveling. He was the beloved husband of 55 years to Kathleen (Marryatt) Caspersen; loving father of Carol Caspersen of Holbrook and Karen Caspersen and her husband Dave Brasche of Sturbridge; devoted brother of Jim Caspersen of Scituate and the late Carlotta Holmes and Burwell Caspersen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Heart Assoc., 300 5th Ave., #6, Waltham, MA 02451. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 68 So. Franklin St., Holbrook. A visitation period will be held Wednesday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial in Union Cemetery, Holbrook.
