In memory of
Avianna Vanessa Shilanski
On Sept. 3, 2018, our Heavenly Father called Avianna home to His glorious kingdom. She is survived by her father and mother, Micah and Kelly Shilanski; her brother, Gabriel; and sister, Milana. She may have been small, but she was fierce. She loved with every fiber of her being, smiling abundantly and often. She adored her mother's constant encouragement and resolve, and believed that her Daddy alone hung the moon just for her; there is no limit to their endless love for their children. Her favorite pastimes were playing "look out" in forts built by her brother or having tea parties, complete with costumes, with her sister. Avianna was perhaps the greatest of all fans that Julie Andrews has ever had: Avianna knew every line from Mary Poppins and the Sound of Music by heart and would beam with joy and excitement during her favorite singing scenes and made sure to let us know when to fast forward past the scenes she cared less for. On Sept. 13, 2018, at 6 p.m., a Vigil will be held at Holy Family Cathedral. On Sept. 14, 2018, at 4 p.m., a memorial service and celebration of life will be held at Holy Family Cathedral in Anchorage, Alaska.
