Lamar Carroll Griffith Sr.
Lamar Carroll Griffith, Sr., 85, husband of the late Margaret Aycock Griffith, died Saturday, September 8, 2018. Born in Oconee County, he was the son of the late James Malcom Griffith and Ruby Lee Cain Griffith. In addition to his parents and wife, Lamar was preceded in death by one brother, Carlton Griffith. Mr. Griffith served in the US Army and retired from Seaboard Farms. Survivors include one son: Lamar Carroll Griffith, Jr.; two brothers; Tom (Mimi) Griffith of Watkinsville and Cecil (Lillian) Griffith of Tucker, GA and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2018 at 11AM with Rev. Ronnie Healan officiating. Lord & Stephens East is in charge of arrangements. www.lordandstephens.com
