Marjorie Knapp CONGERVILLE - Marjorie Leah Farney Knapp, 88, of Congerville passed away at 7:20 a.m. on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka. She was born on January 25, 1930, in Rankin, IL, to William and Lizzie Neukomm Farney. She married Frederick Knapp on October 22, 1950. He survives. Also surviving are one son, Rick (Kathy) Knapp; six daughters, LuAnn (Clarence) Zobrist, Peggy (Randy) Selvey, Lori (Larry) Wiegand, Karen (Dennis) Leman, Lisa (Clark) Leman and Susan (Mike) Zobrist; two sisters, Clara Bodagar and Lucille Baker; 35 grandchildren; and 106 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one great-granddaughter, two brothers and eight sisters. A child of our Redeemer, Marjorie was a member of the Congerville Apostolic Christian Church. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 12, at the Congerville Apostolic Christian Church. Church ministers will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, at the Goodfield Apostolic Christian Fellowship Hall in Goodfield, IL, and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Goodfield-Congerville Apostolic Christian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to the Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke or the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka.
