Martha "Marcie" (Bell) Hartmann
Martha "Marcie" Hartmann, 89, of Woodstock, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital. Burial will be private. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Marcie was born November 7, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret Mohler Bell. After graduating from Denison University, Marcie, a classically trained pianist and singer, raised a family and then later in life went back to school to earn her RN degree. She worked a number of years within the Hospice community. She was a member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Woodstock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Hartmann Jr.; a grandson, Nathaniel Hartmann; and a brother, Jonathan Bell of Luray. She is survived by three sons, Andrew of New York, and Jeffrey and Christopher, both of Woodstock; a daughter, Suzanne of Maryland; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Arrangements are in the care of Dellinger Funeral Home, Woodstock.
