In memory of
Doris (Vogrig) ANDERSON
ANDERSON, Doris (Vogrig) Doris Anderson touched many hearts throughout her life. The youngest of 10 children born to Frank and Alice Menager in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana, Doris was a Montanan at heart. After high school she moved to Great Falls and later, Spokane, Washington where she married Eugene Vogrig and together they raised four children. Through her career at Cooper Elementary, her passion for bridge, dancing, water aerobics and many other hobbies Doris made many friends who, like her family, enjoyed her artistic creativity, energy, perseverance and love of fun. Doris will be remembered as someone who always put her family first, who accepted people as they are and advocated for what she believed was right including the needs of others. Through her actions she instilled in her family the importance of forgiveness, love and support. In addition to her parents and multiple siblings Doris was preceded in death by her husbands Eugene Vogrig and Loren Anderson. Doris is survived by children: Chris (Bill) Wood, Lisa (Stephen) Sonntag, Joel Vogrig, Molly (Ed) Carlson; grandchildren: Ellaina (Josh), Tyler, Trenton, Jolene and step grandson, Matthew; and siblings Phil (Ardyce) Menager and Irene Simonsen, along with many nieces, nephews and beloved friends. Please join us in remembering Doris at a memorial in her honor on September 15 at 1:00pm at her home. Condolences and memories may be posted on her tribute page at www.hennesseyfuneralhomes.com.
