Sibylla Theresa Kulogo
Sibylla Theresa Kulogo, age 90, formally of St. Augustine passed away peacefully Sept. 5, 2018, in the presence of family at her home in Orange City, Fla. where she resided the last three years. Sibylla was born on May 26, 1928, raised in Germany where she met and married her late husband of 42 years, American G.I, Stg. Nickolas M. Kulogo. After moving to the United States she earned her U.S. citizenship. Along with her late husband, Sibylla remained connected to her homeland and heritage by becoming one of the original founding members of the German American Club of St. Augustine. She always smiled, loved to cook, dance and sing along with her German music. She was of the Catholic faith and will be most remembered as a wonderful mother, for the love she showed her family. She is survived by two daughters, Margarete (Douglas) Laidlaw and Annie Lou (Douglas) Horstmeyer; three grandsons, Derek, Justin and Luke (Horstmeyer) and their wives; seven great grandchildren. Private services will be held. Craig Funeral Home is in charge.
