In memory of
DAVE BERMAN
DAVE BERMAN   (Age 56)   Dave "Duuude" Berman was born and raised on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, NY, but spent the majority of his adult life in the U Street neighborhood of Washington, DC. He faced several significant, gene-related health challenges in his life, miraculously rising above them all, until being defeated by lung cancer on August 6, 2018 at only 56 years old. He is survived by his beloved but heartbroken wife, Kathleen Cole, with whom he shared his life for close to 30 years. He also leaves behind a long list of extraordinary friends and neighbors. Dave was a larger-than-life, one-of-a-kind character, who made an impression on everyone he met. He had a sardonic sense of humor and a remarkable range of knowledge that made it easy for him to converse with anyone about anything, which he did, frequently. His brilliant insight and often hilarious casual observations will be sorely missed by everyone whom he ever made laugh-and he made a lot of people laugh. In lieu of a funeral, which was not his shtick, a memorial celebration of his life will take place on what would have been his 57th birthday. Please visit www.dave-berman-memorial.net for details. All are welcome.
