In memory of
Paul Joseph Magee
Paul Joseph Magee, 74, formerly of Chelmsford, Massahcusetts, died on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018 at Sarasota Doctor's Hospital due to complications with longstanding renal failure. Born and raised in Quincy, Massachusetts, the son of Thomas Magee and Mary (Eden) Magee, he lived in Chelmsford, Massachusetts until his retirement, spending his remaining days as a resident of Rotonda West, Florida. After graduating from Northeastern University with a bachelor's degree in business, Paul took a job with Raytheon (a national defense contractor), and remained a loyal and hard-working employee, advancing within this organization until his retirement. A devoted family man, Paul's greatest love and passion was to spend time at home with his family and being a loving grandfather. He took great pride and joy in rebuilding and refurbishing his home in Chelmsford, MA, and in his free time, enjoyed landscape architecture and implementing designs around his property with an artist's eye, a trait he carried with him to his home in Rotonda West. Paul also had a great love for the ocean spending much of his time at Manasota Beach with cherished friends and family. He will forever be remembered by his wife of 45 years, Patricia (Rae) Magee; his children, Matthew Magee, Michael Magee and his wife Kerry, Robyn (Magee) LaGuardia and her husband Joe and their two sons, Nathan and Max; his siblings, Mary (Magee) Landrigan, Thomas Magee, and his late brother, Stephen Magee. He is also survived by many loving in-laws; nieces; nephews and a host of long-time friends that loved him very much. A celebration of his life will be held in his hometown of Quincy, MA at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church the last week of September.
