Benjamin Kovaleski, Jr., 68, of Lake Ariel, died Wednesday evening at Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center following an illness. Born in Hamlin, son of the late Benjamin and Florence Long Kovaleski. Prior to retirement he was employed by Heads Up Flooring in Hamlin. He was a United States Marine Veteran. His passions were fishing and treasure hunting. Surviving are a daughter Jasmine Davis of Colorado; son Justin Davis of Lake Ariel; sister Kim Neary of Newfoundland; brother Charles Kovaleski of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren Adelaide and Leaf Behrends and Skylar Haze Davis, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by sister Marion Kovaleski; brothers Donald and John Kovaleski. Private cremation took lake at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
