John Taylor
A celebration of John Taylor's life will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Front Royal United Methodist Church, 1 West Main Street, Front Royal, VA. Born in 1931, he was the son of Robert Lee and Kathleen Agnes Taylor of Williamsport, MD. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Shirley Taylor; and children, Tamera (John Edgar), John (Lisa Taylor), and Barbara (Chip Cooper). He is also survived by three grandchildren he adored, Jessica (Sean Cutrufello), Joshua (Ashley Edgar), and Justin Paulson. John proudly served in the 612th Air Force Band entertaining troops internationally during the Korean War. He enjoyed playing with area bands including the American Legion Community Band. He was a former Front Royal Volunteer Fire Department member, radio station manager of WFTR, and former voice of the Warren County Wildcats.
