TUSCALOOSA - Samuel W. Hendrix, age 76, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., passed away September 5, 2018 at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2018, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Leon White officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2018, at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Hendrix; and sons, Chris Hendrix and Dewayne Hendrix. Survivors include his daughters, Cathy Morrison (Tim), Sherri Foshee (Keith), Glenda Mulligan, Donna Turner (Jeff), Lisa Conway (Jerry); son, John Turner; sister, Doris Moore; brother, David Hendrix; grandchildren, Erica Turner, Mindi Abernathy (Brandon), Brandi Foshee-Bolton (Clay), Micheal Brown, Austin Brown, Lane Conway, Baylen Foshee and Jacob Conway; and great-grandchildren, Chelsea Turner, Cody Colburn, Chloe Turner, Brody Abernathy and Tyson Abernathy. Pallbearers will be Micheal Brown, Brandon Abernathy, Austin Brown, Baylen Foshee, Lane Conway, Matt Moore and Jacob Conway. Honorary pallbearers will be Clay Bolton, Brody Abernathy and Tyson Abernathy.
