Francis Wesley Lebel
FRANCIS WESLEY LEBEL 1941 - 2018 NORWICH - So frequently we read obituaries noting ones courageous battle with an illness or an age related passing. For Frank he would want it known that he enjoyed life to its fullest. He enjoyed motorcycles and boats, he enjoyed fine cigars and unique oddities making him an advanced collector. He loved antique tractors, and extraordinary engines and automobiles. Frank was born in 1941 to Germaine and Eleanor LeBel. He married his best friend Monica who predeceased him. Frank is survived by his sister Evelyn LeBel, his beloved son Steven LeBel and his wife Lisa LeBel; granddaughter Stephanie Mott, her husband Raymond Mott and his great grandson Jarrod Francis Mott. Frank also leaves behind a multitude of friends and Navy comrades. Frank passed away on August 29, 2018 after courageous battle with Cancer. The family asks that you please treasure the memories you have of him, remember his candor and knowing him you likely have a treasure he gave to you, which is something that he often did. Frank was an amazing man, the patriarch of our small but close knit family, he was a leading example of kindness, generosity, dependability, and a wealth of knowledge. Frank will be truly missed by those who knew him. In lieu of flowers we ask that you spend time with your children, take a walk on a beach with your loved ones, make a toast enduring friendships lifelong and beyond. That is what Frank would wish for you. He will have a Naval burial at sea with an private family ceremony.
