Carole Sue Hale, 83, of Grove, Oklahoma, formerly of Mulberry, died at 12:55 A.M. Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Freeman Hospital at Joplin, Missouri. Mrs. Hale was born August 30, 1935 at Mulberry, Kansas the daughter of Johnsie (Jack) and Myrtle Mae Hamilton Williams. Carole was a homemaker who had been a resident of Oklahoma since 2006. She was raised in Mulberry and attended Mulberry Schools. She married Lowell Hale on August 22, 1953 at Alva, Oklahoma. Survivors include her husband Lowell of the home, four daughters, Carrie Soto of Clifton, Texas, Candy Adamson of Gladstone, Missouri, Kim Simmons of Sioux City, Iowa, and Dianna Reynolds of Buckner, Missouri, a son, Lowell Hale Jr. of Joplin, Missouri, three sisters, Lana Casey of Claremore, Oklahoma, Deanna Shearer of Claremore, Oklahoma, and Marilyn Neil of Hutchinson, Kansas, a brother, Jack Williams of Branson, Missouri, fifteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and sixteen great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, George Hale, a sister, Rosalie Ballard, and two brothers, Clifford and George Williams. Funeral services will be at 10 A.M. Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Bedene Funeral Home at Arma, Kansas with the Rev. Jim Sukraw officiating. Burial will be at the Rosebank Cemetery at Mulberry, Kansas. Friends may call from 11 A.M. to 4 P.M. Friday at the Bedene Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma, Kansas 66712.
