Mary Gladys Hall Died at home on September 4, 2018 at the age of 73 Born on October 25, 1945, to Charles Edward and Emma Marie (Decker) Muntzert. She was born at home near Toponas, CO, she was delivered by her Grandmother and Great Grandmother Decker. She came in the world fighting for air. The family moved to Canon City when she was two, because of the Health of her baby sister. She attended school in Canon City from 1st grade to 12th graduating in 1966. She is survived by Husband David Hall, Sons Ray Dean (Jennifer) Hall of Sugar City, CO, Bill (Gayla) Shaefer Grand Junction, CO, Tod Hall of Canon City, and Daughter Carrie Hall of Lincoln, Nebraska. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Rod, Jim, Roscoe and Charlie Hall Shakira King, and Kimber King. Also Sisters Anna (George) Tillman and Charlotte (Keith) Bumgarner. Brother-in-laws Rudy and George Hall. And many loved nieces and nephews. When the kids were younger she was active in 4H and the Egeria Creek Roping Club. She often hauled her kids and neighbor kids to High School Rodeos and cheered for them all. After moving back to Canon City she got involved in the Cattle Women of Fremont County, serving as Secretary for many years. She enjoyed helping serve meals for the Cattle Women events. She was preceded in Death by her parents, and late husband Darwin Shaefer. Memorial Services will be held Sunday, September 9th 11 am at the family home 2688 County Road 3 West of Canon City.
