Michael "Red Shoes" Glemboski
Glemboski, Michael "Red Shoes" Michael C. Glemboski of North Providence, RI passed away of a stroke at age 62 at RI Hospital on July 12, 2018. Mike was born in Binghamton, NY, on Nov. 2, 1955 and grew up in Springville, PA. A resident of RI for 40 years, he was well known in the community as an auctioneer, antiques dealer, leader and singer in "The Red Shoes Band", and Uber driver. He is the son of Michael Glemboski (deceased) and Betty (Koffel) (Glemboski) Moyer, currently of New Lebanon, OH. He is survived by his long-time partner Nancy Laska, son Bryan Glemboski and wife Sarah, granddaughters Helen and Mary of Richmond, RI, and brothers David, Mark, James and Victor of PA. His extended family includes Amie and Stacey Laska and their children Noelle, Shane and Quinn. He is predeceased by his father Michael Glemboski and sister Christine Pederson. A memorial open house will be held for family and friends on September 16, 2-5 p.m. in his home at 23 Penrose St., N. Providence, RI 02911.
