Olivia Santos-Dion
Olivia Santos-Dion, 85, of Fall River, formerly of Westport, wife of the late Donald Santos, passed away peacefully on Sunday. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Maria Lia (Carvalho) Silva. A devout Catholic, she was a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality and the Womens Guild. She was also past President of the Lafayette Place Senior Club and Chairlady of the Flint Reunion Committee. Olivia was a diehard Red Sox fan and also enjoyed playing cards, bingo, the Holidays, and going out for breakfast. But what was most important to her was her loving family. She leaves: her son Michael Santos and his wife Kathy of Fall River; granddaughters, Jaime Santos and her fianc Chris and Holly Miranda and her husband David; great-grandchildren, Hayley, McKenna, and Kyla Miranda; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Manuel Curly Silvia, Sister Maria Silva F.M.M., and Deolinda Silvia. Her Funeral will held on Friday at 8:00AM from the Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford St., with a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered in Espirito Santo Church at 9:00AM.
