Muriel Wyner 1924 - 2018 WEST CHESTER, PA/NEW HARTFORD, NY - Muriel Wyner, 94, of West Chester, PA and formerly of New Hartford, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018. She was born August 25, 1924, in Utica, the daughter of Myron and Sarah Sherman Greenburg. On May 2, 1946, she married Edward D. Wyner, in Albany. He passed away May 7, 2013. She was a member of both Temple Emanu-El and Temple Beth-El and their sisterhoods and was a lifelong member of Hadassah. The matriarch of the family, Muriel was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an avid golfer, tennis, bridge and mahjongg player. She enjoyed gardening and spending time at their summer home on Onota Lake, in Pittsfield, MA. She is survived by her two children, Barbara (Joseph) Amico, of Chester Springs, PA and Jeffrey Wyner, of Brooklyn; three grandchildren, Amy (Michael) Miller, of Wayne, PA, Tracy (Mark) Prouty, of South Boston, MA and Justin (Stephanie Crement) Amico, of Belmont, MA; five great-grandchildren, Megan and Katelyn Miller, Madison Prouty and Henry and Max Amico; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Dorace Newman; and her infant brother, Paul Greenburg. Graveside services will be Friday, at 11:00 a.m., at Temple Beth El Cemetery, Wood Road, Whitesboro, with Rabbi Peter Schaktman officiating.
