Tony J. Ferrauola
Tony J. Ferrauola, 79, of Wallingford, husband of 59 years to Marilyn (Swistak) Ferrauola, passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018 at his home. He was born in Meriden on Sept. 27, 1938, a son of the late Anthony and Mary (Granade) Ferrauola. He served with the Army National Guard for several years and worked as a pipefitter for American Cyanamid for over 45 years until retiring. In addition to his wife, Marilyn, he is survived by his daughter, Tammy Ferrauola, of Wethersfield; his sons, John Ferrauola, of Wallingford and James Ferrauola, of North Haven; his sister, Lena Bilodeau and her husband, Robert; his brother, Frank Ferrauola and his wife, Linda; his brother-in-law, James Swistak; his sister-in-law, Anna Ferrauola; his grandson, Eric Ferrauola; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert D. Ferrauola. A Mass of Christian burial will be Celebrated on Thursday, Sept. 6 at 10 a.m. directly at the Our Lady of Fatima Church, 382 Hope Hill Road, Wallingford. There are no calling hours. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Wallingford. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory can be made the Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter, 200 Executive Blvd., Suite #4b, Southington, CT 06489.
