GOLDSBORO - Ms. Vivian "Puff" Williams, 70, of 501 11th St., Goldsboro, N.C., died at home on Wednesday Aug. 29, 2018. Funeral will be 11a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018 at Bear Creek Association Headquarters located at 1800 S. Slocumb St., Goldsboro, N.C., with Elder Vance Dunn officiating. Entombment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday Sept. 4, 2018 from 3 to 7 p.m., with family hour being 6 to 7 p.m. at JB Rhodes Funeral Home. "Puff" as she was affectionately known by relatives and friends attended school at Savannah High School in Grifton, North Carolina. She was a licensed cosmetologist and practiced for over 30 years. She worked at both Cherry Hospital and Britthaven Nursing Home for over 15 years. Vivian was a member of Central Heights Free Will Baptist Church. Vivian leaves to cherish her everlasting memories her son, Antonio Williams (Mieko) of Raleigh, N.C., daughter, Tonyetta Williams of Goldsboro, N.C., and son, Kendrick Williams (Tarsha) of Raleigh, N.C.; sisters: Iris Briggs of Kinston, N.C., and Dorothy McCoy (Ralph) of Boston, Mass; grandchildren: Rashid Williams of Goldsboro, N.C., Julian Williams of Clayton, N.C., Justin Williams of NYC; great grandson, Casen Williams of Raleigh, N.C.; 8 sisters-in-law, 4 brothers-in-law and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends.
