ADRIAN - Jesse Williams, age 41, of Adrian passed away, Aug. 25, 2018. He was born Feb. 17, 1977, in Jackson, the son of Greg Williams and Linda (Vallad) Schneider. Jesse attended Adrian High School and was a naturally gifted baseball player. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps where he received an expert rifle medal for marksmanship. During his time in the Marine Corps his fellow Marines looked up to Jesse for guidance and encouragement. He also had a passion for music and loved playing the guitar. Jesse loved anything Elvis. He was known for his sense of humor and quick wit. Jesse never met a stranger. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, father, nephew, cousin and friend. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his parents, Linda and Robert Schneider; his children, Angeline and Logan; two grandchildren; five sisters, Heidi (Joel) Baker, Barb (Clay) Adkins, Cindy (Frank) Wingfield, Melanie (Bryan) Wilson and Nicole (Michael) Allison; nieces and nephews, Chelsey, Chloe, Ryleigh, Alyssa, Dianna, Anthony, Gabby, Legion, Oliver, Maya, Anthony, Lindsey, Jacob, Alexis, Morgan, Bryan, Emily, Maximus and Wyatt; his grandmother, Georgia Vallad; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Oren Vallad; his aunt, Carol Swilley; and uncle, Gary Vallad. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday Aug. 31, 2018, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Highway, Adrian. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. with military honors performed by the U.S. Marine Corps Honor Guard.
