Emily Grace McQuaide, 21, of Charlestown, Rhode Island joined her mom, Ida-Mae, in heaven on August 28, 2018. She was the best friend and committed daughter to James McQuaide, Jr. and Ida-Mae McQuaide, the loving sister to Meagan Seekell and her husband Benjamin Seekell of San Antonio TX, Andrew McQuaide and his wife Lea Ann McQuaide, and Daniel McQuaide all of Charlestown, RI, and leaves her adoring nieces and nephews Kayla, Matthew, Caiden, Miles and Eliot. Emily will be remembered as a fierce self-advocate, gearhead, fabulous dancer and admirer of all men in uniform. The family thanks Dr. Angie Anderson, Hasbro Children's Hospital, Emily's family and friends at Chariho, Fogarty, Perspectives, and the many dedicated direct support and healthcare professionals. Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 4-7pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield, RI. Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 31, at 11am in First Baptist Church of Narragansett, 305 Kingstown Rd, Narragansett, RI.
