Avid outdoorsman and longtime Alaskan transplant Curtis Trahan, 70, passed away on August 20, 2018 at Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna, following a battle with cancer. There will be no services. Curtis was born on January 28, 1948 in Crowley, Louisiana. "He will be missed." He is survived by his daughter, Gay Lisa Monroe and her family; son, John-Thomas "JT" Trahan and his family, all of the San Antonio, Texas area. Also, a large extended family in Louisiana and his wife and companion of 34 years, Leanne King. Arrangements were by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
