DUDLEY H. GEIGENMILLER 1933 - 2018 Norwich – Dudley H. Geigenmiller 85, of Norwich and Safety Harbor, FL died August 24, 2018 at the Backus Hospital. He was born in Baltic on June 21, 1933 the son of the late Adam and Laura (Ridgeway) Geigenmiller. Dudley was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was last employed as a Test Engineer at Electric Boat in Groton, retiring in 1992 with 29 years of service. On September 3, 1960 he married Madelyn (Janik) Geigenmiller at St. Joseph Church in Norwich who survives him. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son: David Geigenmiller of Hanover, two daughters: Lori-Ann Hermann of Lebanon and Carol Andrews of Terryville, grandchildren: George Andrews III, Christian Hermann II, Cara Andrews, and Elena Geigenmiller and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother James Geigenmiller and two sisters Margaret Houghton and Constance Cardin. A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 1st at 11:00 A.M. at Lovett Cemetery in Sprague. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lee Memorial United Methodist Church, 294 Washington Street, Norwich, CT 06360. Guillot Funeral Home of Taftville is in charge of arrangements.
