Stanley Paul Sochor August 8, 1926 - August 17, 2018 Stanley Paul Sochor, age 92, of Phelan, CA; born in Ionia, MI., son of Paul and Anna (LaPar) Sochor; husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, died in auto accident while visiting family reunion in MI. Stanley was a World War II Army Vet - 88th Infantry. He met his beautiful wife Julia Altafin on Italy's Adriatic Beach during WWII. They married June 6, 1947 in Ionia, MI. He was married to Julia 68 years until she passed February 27, 2015. They had 9 children, all born in Michigan. Family moved to Loma Linda in 1964 so kids could attend University. Survived by 3 siblings, Charlie, Nancy and Harold. Survived by 8 children, Bob, Diana, Maria Mosley, Sonia Nolen, Stan, Betsy, David, and Mark; 19 grandkids and 36 great-grandkids. Stan was a hard worker, but his greatest passion in life was worshiping and serving God. Till we meet again. Gravesite service at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, CA. on September 7, 2018 at 11:00am.
