Carl Aichholz
Carl Aichholz, 88, New Haven, passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018, at Sunset Healthcare Center, Union. Carl, son of the late William Aichholz and wife Marie, nee Nauser, was born April 22, 1930, in New Haven. Carl was a civilian employee for the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a senior staff engineer for Motorola for 35 years. In his free time, he enjoyed making jewelry and cutting and polishing stones. Carl is survived by two sons, James Aichholz, New Haven, and John Aichholz, Flagstaff, Ariz.; one daughter, Ann Morris, Tempe, Ariz.; and three grandchildren, Anita Fajohn, Joe Morris and Joshua Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Dorothy Woodcock. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.
