In memory of
William James Glasser II
William James Glasser II March 6, 1951 - August 3, 2018 William James Glasser II, (Bill, Billy, Bo) born March 6, 1951, in San Diego, CA to parents William and Margaret (Minor) Glasser, passed away August 3, 2018, at the age of 67 in Barstow, CA, from health complications. Bill grew up in San Diego, CA and graduated high school in Napa, CA in 1969. He devoted 20 years of his life to the special needs community as a Psychiatric Technician before retiring to the desert of Barstow, CA. The perfect place to do the things that he loved; hiking, watching the sunset, playing his guitars as loud as he wanted, and being able to see for miles. A single man without children was just how he loved living his free spirit life. Often referred to as a "walking encyclopedia", Bill was loved by all for his sense of humor, friendly smile, and ability to carry on deep conversations about history, the world, and religion. Bill loved music and "Old Man" by Neil Young was one of his favorite songs to sing and play on his guitar. Our loving brother and uncle will forever be in our hearts. William was preceded in death by parents William and Margaret Glasser, and older sister Patricia Thomas. He is survived by brother Robert (Leslie) Glasser, Roseburg, OR, sisters Kathleen (Jay) Magill, Gasquet, CA, Teresa (Victor) Reason, Bakersfield, CA, five nieces, three nephews and eight great-nieces and four great-nephews. The family will gather in a celebration of his life and remembrance of his loyalty to our family.
