Mr. Nathaniel Hollie, native Lake Citian, was born May 26, 1935, to the late Maggie Lee Hollie and Elie Hollie, Sr. He transitioned from this earthly life to his heavenly home on August 13, 2018, at Lake City Medical Center. He was saved at an early age and was a devoted member of Poole Memorial Independent Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Pastor Samuel Latham, where he enjoyed singing and ministering for the Lord. Nathaniel was employed with the United Methodist Church in Lake City, for many years. Others preceding him in death: wife, Mary Hollie, who is waiting at the gate for him; son, Nathan Hollie; and brothers, Elie Hollie, Jr. and Robert Hollie. Left to cherish memories: daughters, Geneva Bowman (Wayne), and Rose L. Hollie; sons, Naye Hollie, Sylvester Hollie (Ann); 12 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Pastor Katie Malave (Confessor); a wonderful goddaughter and caregiver, Evangelist Gwen Allen; hosts of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Nathaniel Hollie will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Poole Memorial Independent Church of God in Christ, 894 NE Marion Ave., Samuel Latham, Pastor. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2018, at the funeral home.
