Catharine W. Bonham Services are on Saturday for former Frenchtown and Flemington resident; 'she was everybody's mother' Catharine W. Bonham, 89, of Tinicum Township, Pa., passed away on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, at St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem, Pa. Born May 13, 1929, and raised on her grandfather's farm in Frenchtown, N.J., Catharine lived in Upper Black Eddy, Pa., and Flemington, N.J., before moving to Erwinna, Pa., in 1971. Catharine graduated from Frenchtown High School. She had numerous occupations to help support her family. Catharine was a charter life member of the Raritan Township Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the Jersey Gypsies Camping Club, and the matriarch of Lincoln's General's Living History Museum Partnership. She was everybody's mother; she was loved by many, missed by all. Daughter of the late John and Ida Mae (Hoffman) Wampfler, Catharine is survived by her sons, William Robert Bonham and his wife, Betty, of Fort Myers, Fla., Daniel Francis Bonham and his wife, Kathleen, of New Britain, Pa., and David Michael Bonham of Erwinna, Pa.; her grandchildren, Tara, Justin, Shane, and Marlena, and her three great-grandchildren. Catharine was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, William Bonham. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, N.J. Visitation will also be held on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
