Margaret E. Waters
Ms. Margaret E. Waters, 73, passed away Tuesday evening at the Avalon nursing Home in Lake City following an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Lois Blanton Taylor and the widow of the late Thomas W. Waters. She is preceded in death by five brothers, three sisters and five step children. She was a lifelong resident of Columbia County and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church she enjoyed shelling pecans, and being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by one son Paul W. Waters, Lake City, FL; two daughters Carol Johnson (Ricky), Jewell Davis, two step-daughters Mary Joyce Crawford, and Shirley Munoz, all of Lake City, FL; one brother Robert Taylor (Sue) Wellborn, FL; three daughter in laws, Wilma Blake, and Gertrude Waters and Vivian Waters. Four, grandchildren: Rocky and Andy Johnson, Jessica Tickle, and Thomas Davis. Six, great- grandchildren: Owen, Gage and Lucy Johnson, Grayson and Tatum Davis and Kelstyn Tickle. And a host of step grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. in the Dees-Parrish Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Gaylard officiating. Interment will follow in Waters Cemetery in Lake City, FL. Visitation with the Family will be held Friday, evening August 17, 2018 from 6:00P.M. Until 8:00 P.M. at Dees-Parrish Family Funeral Home.
