Duane Lewis Franklin
Duane Lewis Franklin, 80, passed away late Friday evening on August 10, 2018 at Haven Hospice, in Lake City, FL, following an illness. He was the son of the late Lowell and Grace Franklin of Howell, MI. He had made Lake City his home for the past thirty years after moving from Howell, Michigan. He was a member of CrossPoint Christian Church, and enjoyed fishing, hiking, bicycling and working. He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Christine Franklin, Lake City; three daughters, Anita Cabrera (Timothy), Lake City, Marie Franklin, Bradenton, and Lenore Franklin, Bradenton; one son, Darryl Franklin, Wisconsin; one sister Joyce Duncan, Clearwater; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven nieces and 4 nephews also survive. A celebration of life service for Mr. Franklin will be held August 18, at CrossPoint Christian Church at 2PM with Pastor Tommy Hudson and Pastor Mark Cunningham officiating.
