Jo Ann Overton
Jo Ann Overton, 79, passed away from surgery complications in Highlands Ranch on July 22, 2018. She was born April 8, 1939, in Taylor, Texas, to Joseph and Margaret (McFadden) McMillan. She is pre-deceased by her younger brother, Mike. Jo grew up in Austin, Texas, where she met her husband, Todd H. Overton. Jo and Todd raised their two daughters in Amarillo, Texas. They retired to Santa Fe, N.M., before moving to Evergreen for several years. They moved to Wind Crest Retirement Community in Highlands Ranch in 2017. Jo lived a full and active life creating a loving home for her family and pursuing her passions for cooking and gardening. Everywhere she lived, she made dear friends, who loved her smile and infectious sense of humor.   She is survived by her husband Todd Overton; daughters Marla Jo Overton Kelly and Christian Casey Overton; and three grandchildren, Casey, Sierra and Ty Kelly.   Friends and relatives are invited to her memorial service at Church of the Hills Presbyterian Church in Evergreen on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018, at 2 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to Church of the Hills Presbyterian Church for its community outreach programs.
